Equipment Reservation

The Technology Plan strives to acquire additional hardware components to better equip classrooms as well as grades. Eventually, each grade will have certain components which are designated for their particular grade. However, at this point, all components should be considered shared equipment rather than belonging to a certain grade. Components will be clearly labeled 1, 2 or 3, etc. to avoid conflicts with possible double booking of a particular piece of equipment. Review the following sections for availability and guidelines when placing reservations for equipment. Until the computer lab is complete, the following equipment will be available for classroom use: FLIP CAMERAS LAPTOP CART MOBILE PROJECTOR CART WITH DVD SMARTBOARDS VIDEO CAMERAS		Equipment Reservation Guidelines Keep the following in mind when making reservations in general: All shared technology equipment must be officially reserved for use in the classroom. Strive to make reservations 1 week in advance Reservations can not be made no more than 2 weeks in advance Please return, or make arrangements for delivery to the next reservation in line Please return all equipment in the same condition which it was received, including wires, extension cords and remotes Should you notice something missing, please make note of it on the checklist provided with the equipment or in the lab No more than one reservation for the same piece of equipment can be made in a given 5 day period Regarding the above guideline, if you make more than 1 reservation, another teacher may request use of the equipment Special consideration may be given for laptop projects which may take more than a single day If you have conflicts, please try to compromise...DO NOT use equipment without reservations
