I am married, have two daughters and live outside of Annapolis, MD. We have two dogs, three cats, one rabbit, a parakeet and a turtle. As you can see, animals are a passion for me. I work in a high school, but I am not currently in the classroom. I am working with the local community to develop a new environmental literacy program at my school. It's a new initiative that has me working with the community and the school to create real-world curriculum. Funding is almost impossible so I may be going back in the classroom next year. I want to learn as much as possible about technology and how to best integrate it into this new program (or a classroom) so students will be more motivated. And, frankly, I have a dream of teaching online while I sit on a beach somewhere! I have several hobbies--scrapbooking, astrology, and crafts of any kind and I especially enjoy our house near the Delaware beaches. |
